Following the publication of SDCEP’s Conscious Sedation in Dentistry guidance in 2017 (reviewed and unchanged December 2022), the Sedation Practice Inspection (SPI) Checklist has been revised. The latest version (v2 September 2018) is to be used for practices undergoing sedation inspection from 1st November 2018.
For practices undergoing sedation inspection from 1st November 2018:

The individual treatment and recovery area section of the SPI Checklist (Section 5 Individual Treatment and Recovery areas) is available separately. You can print it off as many times as required for the number of treatment and recovery areas within your practice:

The patient sedation records section of the SPI Checklist (Section 4 Patient Record-keeping) is available separately and can be printed off for use if there are more than 5 operator-sedationists or sedationists in the practice.
