Caring for Smiles for Adults with Additional Care Needs is NHS Scotland’s national oral health improvement programme for adults aged from 16-64 years who need support with their daily oral care as a result of a physical, cognitive, medical or mental health condition.
The programme is delivered through Health Board oral health improvement teams who offer oral health advice, support and training to adults with additional care needs, their families and carers.
